conference she hugged some photographers, I guess that her way of saying I'm sorry.

Noel from Oasis has referred to the Spice Girls as "those fat idiots" claiming that

23.11.1997 - Spice Girls angry at the British media
The girls are angry at the British media for releasing all these rumours about
the five Spices. Apparently the British media has released all these rumours which
were UNTRUE! The girls are offended by this especially coming from their home country.
The girls also mentioned that they have recieved a lot of support from the rest of the world
but surprised not to be getting as much from Britain. The country whom they expected full
support from.

17.11.1997 - It's time to kill all the rumors!
The five girls appeared on the balcony of their hotel on Sunday in Italy and
performed two songs to the cheers of hundreds of fans below.
"The girls are closer than they have ever been following the recent bad publicity,"
said their newly appointed publicity boss Alan Edwards.
"They are remarkably calm tonight and are determined not to dwell on the past.
They want to assure all their fans that they are not splitting up and they are very
concerned that they have been given an untrue view over the past few days."
Mr. Edwards said the girls were very upset by the events in Spain last week
when they were booed off stage by photographers in Barcelona during an awards
evening, but want to put it behind them.
The band will be in Paris for most of the week where they will promote their
new film, Spice World, and will hold a press conference on Tuesday.
It was at that session that it had been rumored they might announce their split.
But Mr. Edwards said: "They will talk about the film and I don't even think they
will mention anything about the rumored split unless they are asked."
She strongly denied reports that she had disappeared on Saturday for a secret
pre-dawn rendezvous with Simon Fuller. Emma has also denied she was having
an affair with Simon Fuller. Emma dismissed the claims. She told British tabloid
The Sun: "Do I look like the sort of girl who'd fancy someone with dyed hair?
Actually, Simon had to go because he forgot the words to Wannabe. That was
unforgivable."
Mr. Edwards said: "Emma has sworn to me that she was with the band all day
and the girls have all backed her up. She said she was very surprised by it."
Mr. Edwards also said that Posh Spice Victoria Adams "laughed" at a report that
she was preparing to wed her England footballer boyfriend David Beckham.

16.11.97 - Great Sign!
The girls recently held a meeting with their record company, Virgin Records. They
talked about looking for a new manager and how it's going to be tough these
upcoming months. From this, the girls began to sing:
".... all you need is positivity!" :^)
We wish them all the luck in the world that they get through this period!

14.11.1997 - Spice Girls Booed off Stage!
Ohhh nooo!!!! Bad news for the girls when they were booed off the stage after holding a
Spanish award ceremony. They apparently didn't come on stage until all the photographers
had left. When the girls finally came out, they were met by a booing impatient crowd in
the National Palace Concert Hall in Barcelona.

12.11.1997 - Spice Girls lose their song writers
Apparently, song writers Richard Stannard and Matt Rowe had a contract with
ex-manager Simon Fuller. Meaning, they were forced to leave the Spice Girls. This is
very testy time for the our band. I hope more than anything that the girls pull through.

Fuller has denied the rumours that are flying around mentioning
an affair between him and Emma

11.11.1997 - Album sales lower than expected
The new album "Spice World" which started selling last Monday has sold a total
of 195,000 copies in it's first week. But the problem is that it is much lower than
expected compared to the first album "SPICE". A total of 1½ million copies
of "Spice World" had been shipped for sales, but fans have not yet bothered.
If you have not yet brought a copy of the new album, PLEASE! buy a copy and
help put the girls back on top. The new album contains some of the greatest tracks
you'll ever hear in your life!

 10.11.1997 - New Manager?
After firing Manager Simon Fuller on Wednesday it has now been revealed that
the girls have personally approached "First Avenue Management" to manage
them. However Simon Fuller will recieve £10 million pay-off for his sacking
and also recieve royalties until the year 2001. It also has become clear that the
reason for that they sacked Fuller was because the girls have become fed up with the
punishing work timetable he dictated and the strict regulations he imposed on their
private lives.

9.11.1997 - Rumors why Simon Fuller was sacked
The girls have felt that their schedules have been far too grueling over the last
three months and that Fullers intrusion into their private lives has been excessive,
to say the least. Another factor is the holiday taken by Fuller and Baby Spice,
back in August, in the South of France, which, seemingly, infuriated the others.

9.11.1997 - New record
Massive demand for 'Spiceworld' has put the girls back into the record books
again. The album, released November 3rd, has had advance orders of 1.4 million
copies, beating the previous highest of 1.1 million for Frankie Goes To
Hollywood's 'Welcome to the Pleasure Dome' in 1984. The album's global orders
have reached more than 6 million. To advertise the album in the UK, Virgin
Records has decorated 40 London taxis with artwork featuring the group.

8.11.1997 - Statement from the Spice Girls and 19 Management
Statement from a spokesman for Simon Fuller at 19 Management:
We confirm that there is to be a parting of the ways between the Spice Girls and
19 Management. It's been great for us to be a part of the success of the girls over
the last two years. This is very much the girls' ideas and we wish them the very
best of luck in the future. Simon does not really want to say much more. He is resting
in Europe.
Mr. Fuller nor 19 Management felt shocked at the the outbreak of genuine 'Girl Power'.
It's been talked about for a few days. It wasn't a big bombshell. Things come to
an end naturally sometimes and the girls are going onwards and upwards and we
wish them our best.
They are five very talented, successful, motivated women who know what they
want and Simon is a brilliant manager and the girls are now empowered to go on
to new heights.
Statement from the Spice Girls:
We feel in our hearts that this is the right decision for us. We would like our fans
to know that we are positive and excited about the future.

8.11.1997 - Spice Grils manager, Simon Fuller fired!!!
The Spice Girls have fired their manager Simon Fuller. "We feel from our hearts
that this is the right decision for us" they informed in a joint statement. Geri
Halliwell is reported to have played a major role in the decision. The precise
reason is unknown.
The Spice Girls will be in Düsseldorf in Germany on the 19 of December 1997
for the premier of their movie.
