St. Michael's Leads Best-of-7 Series 2-1
After fireworks of every kind in Game's-1-and-2, Game-3 was hilighted by stellar goaltending. St. Michael's netminder Chris Beckford stopped over 40-shots, and held the Panthers off the scoresheet in the 3rd period - during the 3rd the Panthers had a 2-man advantage for 1:45, and a 5-minute powerplay following another viscious piece of stickwork from the Buzzers. MATT CHRISTIE scored the lone Panther goal, it coming in the 1st period on the powerplay. Panther defenceman SEAN BRADLEY was solid at the blueline for Pickering, throwing a hard hit late in the 2nd period along the boards, but Pickering couldn't capitalize on the momentum swing. Game-4 goes Thursday night at St. Mike's, game time is 7:30pm.
