Shock media has been educating the masses on the Internet since 1994. We were the ones who came up with the slogan "Once everybody's connected, we're all screwed!" We expect that our loyal readers have been concerned with our whereabouts. Those who believed we would return won't be disappointed on this grand occasion of Shock Media's first issue of the year. As someone pointed out the other day, "it took long enough didn't it?" Well, yes, it took some time for all the forces in the executive echelons to conspire towards a new formula. To get rid of the slack, and to reward the go-getters. Some are still at large.

As far as our leader is concerned, he will not be available for several months, until he has, in his own words formulated: "... a plan of all plans that will make the establishment shake in its boots...".

Some speculate that he is keeping aloof until he gets a feel for the new readership. Changing the server was a big shock to him. It will take time for these wounds to heal.

Surely, new readers are already sensing that this is definitely not your average magazine. We're not here to be cute, and I don't believe we've won any popularity contests other than with our readers. In its heyday, this site attracted over one thousand readers per week.
