HTML Editors

DiDa
A very nice little [800k uncompressed] HTML editor. The non-current 16 bit version is free for non-commercial use.
homesite
A Windows 95 HTML editor.
Super NoteTab
Another Windows 95 HTML editor that also doubles as a replacement for Notepad. This program doesn't have a 32k limit on file size, and it will allow you to edit multiple files at the same time. It also has a Clipboard enhancement.
AOLPress
A free HTML editor, from those nice people that kept sending you those free floppy disks, though now they seem to have switched to CDs.


Web Tools

AnyForm
A form processor that gets around the fact that IE doesn't support the mailto: action. This is a CGI script on uky's web server that will process your form contents and mail them to the e-mail address of your choice.
virtualpromote
A site designed to help you promote your web page.
W3 validator
Check to see if your page follows the HTML 4.0 specicifications.
Elsop
The makers of Linkscan. This link takes you to their Webmaster Resource Center which has several useful things including a humour section.
hidaho.com
a JavaScript on-line colour picker. Quite a nice bit of work if you want to play with the colour of your web page but you aren't using an editor that allows you to do this easily.
Internet Tools Gateway
Use "finger" "whois" and several other internet tools through this person's web site.
