- QNX
- Take the one disk challenge! These people have built a software package that includes an operating system, a browser, an internet dialer and a text editor that fits on a single 3.5" floppy. Of course they took a few shortcuts. But it is an interesting idea in these days of bloated programs.

- Another small browser. Not as small as QNX. Opera can also be put on a single floppy disk, but it doesn't include an operating system [it uses windows].
- Arachne
- A DOS based browser that runs reasonably well on a 386 with 8 Mb of RAM. It's handling of JPGs is quite slow, but otherwise it looks good.
