What is J and APL Ring

Welcome to the J and APL Ring Homepage. J and APL Ring is aWebRing devoted to the J and APL programminglanguages.

How to Join

Joining is easy! There are just a few steps to follow, but they are important. Please follow them carefully to preserve the integrity of the ring. If you donot have a forms-capable browser, drop me an email(kornal@idirect.com) and I will help you out.
  1. Make sure your site meets all of the following criteria:

  2. Copy the graphics to your local server. Do not reference them off of someone else's server without their permission!

  3. Register your page. This inserts you into the queue, not the ring, makes your site known to the WebRing program and gives you a Site ID.
    Site URL
    Site Title
    Your E-mail
    Your Name
    Password (see warning below)
    Keywords
    Description
Make sure to write down the Site ID that is returned! WARNING: The password you enter for this or any other WebRing is visible to the ring maintainer (me, in this case). Please use caution to ensure that nothing is compromised.

  4. Add the HTML fragment below to the page which you have registered. The purpose of the ring is to link J/APL pages together, not to force people to go through many pages or screens before they can proceed. Please put the HTML fragment as high up on the page as is feasible given your layout (some folks have been remarking that it is not easy to link from site to site).

    Note the following:

  5. That's it! You should now be able to navigate the entire ring until you make it back to your homepage. An easy way to make sure that you got added correctly is to go to the homepage of the person before you in the index and see if their next button takes you to your page.
