News For: January 18th, 2001
Hectic times will begin soon. I will no longer have this webspace as of the 20th due to an ISP change. Tomorrow I will get me some free WebSpace (which will mean...argh...ads) and upload an exact replica of this site there. I can't tell you my new address becasue it's yet to be determined but what you can do if you don't want to lose track is goto the Links section and bookmark (or jot down) the Posse WebRing, which contains a link to my site (and will be updated accordingly).
Due to the failure of my comic (yet and yet again), I will change that area into what I call "Art is...", a page that showcases my artwork for all to view and optionally, adimire. The title banner and link pics will most likely be done tomorrow but due to the unfortunate mutilation of my digital camera, actual art work may not be posted just then.
Couple of days ago, I received my first tech support E-Mail. Although my help was only minimally helpful it made me vey happy.
After I get over the ad-filled Free Internet and WebSpace the gift of High Speed Access and a new computer awaits. I can't wait until those days...

Just wanted to say a delayed HAPPY NEW YEAR (and welcome to the 21st century).
Look at the 2nd news for Dec 15.......see it?.........As of now, I have no high speed Internet (still phone line) and I have no scripts. Life is harsh.
It's sort of ironic that as soon as the winter break began the updates stopped. I guess I had better stuff to do (haha that's funny).
There's good news in the making. By the end of this month I should have a brand new P4 1.3ghz system and the long awaited (<---------this long-------->) cable modem. But then again, there's the Dec 15th effect.....

Amidst all the crazy technical updates I managed to make the site unviewable (Nice going Marquee K...). That's fixed now.

Sorry for the terrible job I did on the frame thing. I fixed it so that the menu can once again be scrolled.
This site is now fully optomized for 1024*768. That is: The Main Menu and the Frame fits snuggly in the Browser window and there is no horizontal scrolling what so ever.
Added cpations (leave mouse on graphic) to all graphics except for the two Thing of the Week pics.

I got rid of the frame border. I think this makes it look a bit more 'fluent' than before. One downside is that you NEED at least 800*600 for it to work properly.
If all goes well, I should be using a high speed Internet connection by the end of this month and my site should be somewhere else. When this happens I'll throw in some Scripts to make this site prettier and more horrible than ever.
New "Thing of the Week*". It's my thoughts about the Toronto Maple Leafs.

I looked at my hit counter and seeing as it has increased a mere 5 hits during the last month or so I thought, "What's the point of having this site? What's the point of this news that no one would read? What's the point of my comic that lacks talent and audience? etc..."........... It's pretty damn lonely down here.
The countdown to the expiration of my Internet connection has begun. That'll mean I will also lose this webspace. But worry not, I have the whole site (as is) on my Hard Drive and when I get some webspace from my new ISP (hopefully cable ), I'll have it up in no time.
I've been thinking of adding JavaScript to this site (most likely via free resources, not my programming). Upon thinking about all the potential work that would have to be done, I decided to save this for when I sign up with my new ISP.
New Game added. It's called "The Fight of The Sumo Hoppers". Believe me, it's more fun than it sounds.

I did this update from school, during my computers class. This is not allowed to say the least. It's been a while since I used a text editor to update my site.
I found a update patch for one of the downloadable games, Wings. It's in the downloads section beside the original download link.

BIG BIG BIG Update!!! New page added. That's right, a whole new page! It's called "Pure Comedy" and it contains a comic made by me. I've put it in the Fun Stuff section because it's fun (at least for me).
Long time ago (it's down there somewhere), I said that I won't make a comic ever again becuase it was unmanageable. But if you strip it of stuff like good looks and a plot, it's quite fine. That's what I did.

A pretty big update considering the fact that I've been a very busy student for the past week or so.
Thing of the Week* updated. Read about how I discovered the music of The Beatles.
Two new amazing games to download. Also note the change in the Background and Forground colours due to visibility problems. (I also stopped doing that synonyms for Download thing, I ran out of words).
Upon pondering if it's the right thing to do, I corrected all the spelling errors on the archived news.

This is one of those "This is website's still alive" sort of update. Nothing's been done.
The good news is that stuff will be done soon (within the next week or two). That is, my review of the Beatles (in the thing of the Week*) and a new download (or two).

As mentioned below, updates will be the opposite of frequent due the iron grasp of school.

The arrival of school robbed me of time to update this site. As a result, updates may be reduced to a weekly basis (which isn't all that bad actually).
Well, the only update done today was correcting the instruction for that Asteroids applet I got in the Arcade section.
My next update will most likely bring a game or two to the downloads section as well as a different Thing of The Week* (mustn't forget the asterisk).

Look in the Downloads section to find a newly uploaded game, Jump'n'Bump. This game's easy to find in other places but whatever.
Weird stuff happened to the Hit Counter on the title page. When I visited today, it read 551. That shouldn't be odd if you didn't have the obscurest site in the world (which I do). I looked to the detailed hit analysis, only to see that it made the situation worse, it read more than 800. The only thing that convinced me that this site wasn't an overnight success was that the big hits came in blocks of 350 exactly. So I got a new hit counter and jogged it forward to the last realistic reading on the last counter.

Major Bug Fix!!! (I received one bug report and it wasn't E-Mail, that shows you how low traffic this place is.), Now you can SEE the Website. Wow!!!

Insanely large update today as you might have noticed. This site is now equipped with a Frame Menu so that you don't have to use the Back to... links or your Back button.
I've decided the only possibility of increasing traffic here is to give it away for free. In the contact section I added a banner to here for all to take.
I'm also adding a message board so that visitors to this site can converse of various things. And speaking of conversations, I beg of you to sign up for the Chat and sign my Guest Book as well. More people the better.
Look at this streak of updates. It's pure impressiveness, or so I think. I see more stuff in the Downloads section in the near future.

Some small updates today. I added meta tags to the index page (if you know what I'm talking about) and Fixed the hit counter problem.
I'm thinking of adding frames to this site due to the heavily branched organization of this site.
I'm adding a message board to the contact section. Use it. As with the already existing Chat.
To improve the 1 visitor/day average of this site. I'm looking for various linking opportunities. Any offers will be greatly appreciated.

Very minor update done today. The breakout! game window was moved to the center of the page as opposed to the left.
I'm thinking of learning some JavaScript so that I can do funky stuff for this site. But don't expect much.

As promised, I have added another Java game. It's called 3D Driver.
Now that my job's over and done with, I will exploit the full potential of the freedom before school resumes.
I just realized that my hit counter got reset a while ago. Add 300 and some odd hits for the true number.
For the sake of humanity, please use the Chat thing on this site. You don't even have to come back. I just want another name besides mine. I beg of you.

My last shift at work has been preponed and so I am now a free and unemployed man.
Asteroids! added to the Java Arcade. It's quite excellent. I'm planning on adding other games soon.

Well, the summer wasn't all that friendly in regards to giving me time to update this site. Must be that job I got recently.
However, the good news is that I am quitting that job in 3 more days. Then I will have the limited but spacious free time.

After many many hours of work, this site is now fully operational! Have fun wasting your time!
I WAS going to make my own comic series (like I did before). But seeing how the last one only went for 2 episodes (spanning over couple of months too), I decided it's just not worth it. Not only did it have crappy artwork, it had a crappy plot.....alas, it will never happen again.
On a more positive note, I now have a Chat Room in the contact section. My hope is that it will develop some regulars.

Well, looks like I've made another come back (this being my second). Aside from the new and improved (?) appearance, nothing much has changed.
Special Thanks to Eve, who made me join the posse webring and thus shattering my barrier of laze.

So, basically, this site is dead. But it DID last more than a year! I'm quite surprised by that.
I said that this site is dead but that doesn't end my crappy website making legacy. I'm thinking of a complete renovation of this site so keep your eyes open for that.
