MY FIRST BIG TRIP
"HAWAII"
My Best friend of many years Gert and her husband Sam and Kevin her son,
came for dinner and they started to talk about their trip to Hawaii...
which was planned for March.
By the time they left that night ...you guessed it...my hubby and I had booked
to go with them.
We left on March 9th 1979...
Our hotel was just beautiful it was called the Miramar...
Our first morning I was so excited that we had breakfast in bathing suits
and on the beach by 7:00A.M.WAIKIKI here I am...
My hubby..Ken...myself.... Gert and her hubby..Sam
Most afternoons we went shoppng...and sight seeing .We would rent a car and take off
on one of THESE trips we saw "CHINA MAN`S HAT"and what they call "BLOW HOLE"
We had to get up early one morning as we wanted to see the KODAK SHOW...
Which I am sure if you have been to HAWAII you know you have to go very early..
One afternoon my hubby KEN and I took off to the "PARROT JUNGLE"
All the birds fly free here so Gert did not want to go.
Then one night we got all dressed up and met the rest of our group to help
Bruce...celebrate his Birthday..this was at a beautiful place called
the "HANO..HANO ROOM"

Well it was time to rent a car again...and off we went to another
BEACH called "HANAUMA BAY"
Breathtaking thats all I can say...
