Your friend needs help. Help you cannot provide for her alone. Eating disorders are very serious, and you need to take immediate action, since your friend has a history of it. Yes, it sounds like a good idea to tell her you are afraid for her. She should not be upset with you if you share your feelings and concerns with her. This is different from telling her what to do, or telling her how she should feel. Talk to an adult you trust, like a parent or teacher, and share your concerns with him/her. If she is your best friend, than you owe it to her to help her in her greatest time of need.
