- 38 PLAYERS @ DCC - SEPTEMBER 23, 2000

Jura Ochkoos and Milan Mitrovic both scored 5 out of 6 in the DCC "FALL" Saturday Active (September 23rd) to win $175. each from the 38-player $950 Prize Fund!  Michael Nagelsdiek finished with 4 points to win the Under 2200 Section $150 Prize, while 6 players finished with an even ".500" to carve up the $100 remaining in the 20-Player Open Section.  They included David Raheb, Warren Dutton, Justin Gulati, Richard Ruiz, Stephen Fairbairn and Nikola Brajkovic

The Under 2000 "Second Section" of the tournament was won by U. of T. student Andrew McMillan, who scored 5 out of 6 to capture $125.  Arnie Lucki was alone in 2nd place to win $75., while Al Courtney from Wasaga Beach and Richard Moran from Florida shared third prize with junior Pavel Fulmyk.  The Under 1400 Class Prize was won outright by junior Mitchell Dembowski who scored 2.5 to win $50.
