CONFORMING TUTORIAL |

| Back
to the Poser (note change in Tutorial... only 6 parts to shirt, collar is now part of chest) |

Now yer ready!! Click the POSE tab and you should find yerself back to the figure ... if it reports some bones are unassigned then probably you didn't name the parts of the shirt properly ...... WHen back with the figure, don't be surprised if the shirt has moved, cuz you moved it when you fit it to the bones. What's important is what it looks like when it is set to conform. So click 'CONFORM TO' in ... menu ... I'll specify that exactly, gotta check .. and select 'Figure #' whichever is the P4 figure, and you should see the shirt grab the body. [another screen cap needed here] Move the arms around see how good or bad it works, if skin shows you may wanna go back and make some adjustments, either with the bones, the joint parameters, or with the shirt itself. Sometimes you gotta go back and move the vertices out ... well, it's yer first one, so it'll be easier next time. Keep in mind skin shows in poses using clothing that comes with Poser, so it's not an exact science. |

Geez I shoulda antialiased it. I don't like the P4 texture that comes with Poser so I didn't bother rendering! I like Victoria 2 of that series Some screen caps gonna added, and some comments to follow up, but this is basically the end of the demo. Ya for me it came out bulky, the first version was better. Sleeves could hug the arm better ... uhm ... gotta give the sleeves a little more room ... Probably should of added more gravity to the Clothreyes drop. And of course if you start with a mesh with more polys when you do the drops, you'll get FAR better results ... remember I used an 8x8 plane originally .. In the future, I'll explain a little more about joint parameters ... like here, what bulges and how much when something bends can be manipulated ... Also I want to give it invisible neck and hip hoops so it matches the T-shirt configuration completely ... |
