Here are the steps to join two vertices using Target Weld ... note the vertices show as squares instead of dots cuz I changed computers since I started writing tutorials, and the video driver shows the vertices as squares! Go figure. Anyway, set ignore backfacing ON cuz you don't wanna weld vertices to other side by accident. Then select one of two vertices .... |

| Select Target Weld button from the COmmand Stack (note I have 4 pixel range [bottom right of pic below]), on this computer the dot becomes larger once you do that. Yeh, now the video driver shows it as a dot ... Go figure. | ||

Put cursor over vertex, hold left mouse button down, cursor changes to arrows ... |

| Move cursor over vertex you wanna join, HOLD MOUSE BUTTON DOWN ALL THE WHILE and the cursor will change shape again when it's over other vertex ... | ||
|

|
Finally release the mouse button and the vertices will join automatically ... unclick target button if yer ready to stop otherwise you'll be joining more stuff without knowing it. |
