Ya, we're gonna make clothing for the POSER figure, and explore different techniques, mainly using 3d max as our modelling program. Note that you don't need its Clothreyes Plugin absolutely cuz you can always duplicate the effect of dropping a cloth by moving the vertices of a plane yourself, and fit it to the collision surface by hand. However Clothreyes v. 3 is free (it still is, right???)

Using Clothreyes with Max 3dS to make a shirt on Poser figure. You can get Clothreyes free for Max R3 HERE (click link 'Get yer free copy' bottom left)

1.   Main Part of Shirt

2.   Sleeves

3.   Thickening sleeve edges

4.   Adding a round collar (Phase 1)

5.   Finishing round collar (Phase 2, new)

Update: A tutorial explaining the TURN, DIVIDE operation in Max is in the works. Actually there are plenty of places it coulda been used in the shirt! Maybe I'll show it there. And we'll make shirt conformable, as well. And I wanna do something more to the sleeves, and such. That's the plan. Meanwhile I added a little Target Weld Page. WHy I dunno, there's like 500 of em showing how to do it. Well there ain't 500 showing Clothreyes like this, so we still ahead of the game!

Making it conformable ... gonna need Poser Pro Pack ... I might do something to the sleeves first. Or after. Lotta ppl wanna know how to make it conform.

1.   Intro

2.   Chopping it up with DETACH

3.   Giving it a skeleton. Otherwise known as making it a figure.

4.   Gonna go back and give it an invisible neck and hip (just use a couple hoops). Won't take long.
