  SHIRT FRONT

You an drop various types of flat meshes on the figure, even boxes or cylinders for that matter! A plane is the simplest. Let's try that.

Create a plane, with dimensions 8 x 8 ... name it SHIRTFRONT. Position it over the figure as shown, between shoulders and hip. Now in the LEFT viewport raise it up in the Y direction cuz it has ta drop. Once you got it suspended above the figure as shown, clone it. Why? Because you need another plane for the back of the shirt. This way we got an identical plane for the back to join with the front. Name the clone SHIRTBACK. Hide SHIRTBACK for later by right-clicking on it, and select PROPERTIES, and check HIDE.

Ok, here we go, now follow this closely.

Select all figure parts and the plane SHIRTFRONT (don't pick SHIRTBACK), click Clothreyes Modifier button. Pick new scene, enter any name. Then click MAKE FABRIC. When it asks you to make each part a fabric, say no to each one except SHIRTFRONT. When it asks you to make SHIRTFRONT a fabric say yes.Click START CALCULATION.

Pick Start Frame 0, End Frame 5. Now for the fun part! Watch it drop ... After dropping, if successful, a pop up will say so, and click ok.

SHIRTFRONT will return to where it started--don't panic! Click EDIT ANIMATION RANGE. Check delete frames box, and enter: From Frame 0 to Frame 4. Click Ok. Animation slider is at 5 still ...

... slide it left to zero. Once you do that, you should see SHIRTFRONT draped over the figure once again.

Now this is important: Select everything, and collapse to mesh to clear clothreyes modifier. (footnote 1***)

Front half of the shirt done!

Note if wanna try the drop again with different settings, keep all selected and delete Clothesreyes modifier. Reset slider to zero. Leaving everything selected still, add Clothreyes modifier, and away you go.

(1*** Another faster way to tidy up right AFTER the drop: when the slider is sitting at 5, and while everything is still selected, move the slider to whatever frame you want as final, and then just EDIT STACK and collapse everything to mesh (Use COLLAPSE ALL button,if it warns ya about losing scene, ignore warning). Slide slider to 4 and back to 5 if you want 5. As before, slide the slider back to zero when done and you'll see the frame you picked as now the 0 frame. Saves ya having to delete frames)
