Back Home
I met two loving people when arriving home today
I'd travelled round and round the world
Had come home now to stay
My Dad was standing proud and tall
with the biggest smile of all
his hair was now silver grey
Dear Mom was standing by his side
as happy as a sweet young bride
Quite youthful and so gay
There could have been a reason
as to why they showed such pride
Since when I was a travelling
I had found a loving bride
Now having found such happiness
I thought it only fair
to visit my dear parents
My sweet fortune I would share
No more will I be travelling
no more the world will roam
With my sweet lady by my side
we will set up our new home
So now inspired by my Mom and Dad
the years of happiness they've had
We'll set out on our way
living our future day by day
Regardless of stress or winds or weather
working out our dreams together
