Why
the changes, for what reason
time and tide and life flow on
Spring and summer, winter, fall
each a space and free to all
Fresh we wake each day at dawning
settling nightly with a yawn
Life it, should be flowing freely
natural and without pain
Changing from young boy to manhood
with no problem only gain
Comes a time to make decisions
set some goals and live again
Recklessness and wild abandon
tend to lower ones esteem
Just take stock of who you are
and weave yourself a useful dream
Make some realistic choices
find ambition, plan a scheme
Hold sweet memories of the past
those were days for you to grow
Childhood does give way at last
melts away like winters snow
Just do your best each coming day
we will be with you, all the way.
