Just
as in 1984 Big Brother has brought forth much law
A common nonsense revolution
quite sure to cause untold confusion
The common human not a factor
to this capitalistic actor
With all his rich friends right behind him
Nothing standing in his way
He simply opens up his mouth
and speaks great words to make their day
The time has gone when plain
compassion
even counts, 'tis not in fashion
Collect we money, all we can
transfer it to the business man
Who adding this to his collection
will grant to them his great affection
Showing great thanks on voting day
We all know things got out of hand
human welfare, too overplanned
Requiring monies from our taxes
we now have experts with their axes
Sorting out this strange affair
nothing can we do or say
Dictatorship is now in play
Who now can take this thing in stride?
yet look upon our space with pride
Think you deeply common man
sort these things out as best you can
At present we have lost control
have lost our voice, we are not heard
Our day is coming not long hence
when we regain our common sense
and work toward our common goal.
Quite simply a simple poem having no evil intent, simply to make a statement.
Many will perhaps see things quite differently. They may be the ones who are right.
