When
I awoke this morning without a thought or care
The sun was shining in my room its rays were everywhere
I knew that God was in his heaven I felt his presence near
The beauty of the morning the sky so bright and clear
I opened up my window to hear the
lovely sound
Of birds a twittering in the trees while flying all around
Theirs was a wondrous melody a crescendo of harmony
Their message seemed so very clear
This is that glorious time of year
Rejoice with us its spring
So pleasant was the view outside
so happy then was I
The lovely colours all around the grass the trees the sky
With all Gods Gifts so freely given
Seems our next step would be to heaven
