How
very sad it is today
to see young bodies thrown away
In every city, town or 'burb
young adolescents at lifes curb
The dwelling which was home to all,
quite suddenly seems much too small
Admittedly, without a doubt,
it does seem hard to think things out
For now with parents here's the biz
some are hers, and some are his
Ones parents have more things to do
than be around to care for you
But surely it would seem nice
to hear the rattle of the dice
Deciding diplomatically
who should the sorry castoffs be
Perhaps a happier day will come
when peoples thoughts might even mellow
When families are one again
protected under one umbrella.
