Turmoil In Our Midst
There seems a turmoil in our church
where peace and friendship once prevailed
One has to wonder what went wrong
into rough waters we have sailed
The church is where we worship God
with earth's ambitions left without
A place where we renew our faith
and honour Jesus Christ our Lord
We are all God's beloved children
we each are precious in His love
With no one better than the next
each welcome to His home above
So let us in His sight be humble
being kind one to the other
Setting aside selfish ambitions
to live as sister or as brother
Remember those who went before you
who have gone to well earned rest
Work with those who still amongst you
quite simply do their best
We all of us have many talents
give with yours and share with all
Live as one united family
stand together proud and tall
