"MAKE IT BACK HOME" IN N.IRELAND 



LEDU, the Small Business Agency for Northern Ireland is trying to attract back some of the 200,000 people who left the Province over the last 25 years by encouraging them to "Make it Back Home" and start up their own business.

The "Make it Back Home" programme is aimed at assisting ex-Northern Ireland residents now residing overseas to return to Northern Ireland and use their skills and international experience to successfully launch new businesses particularly with export potential.

Financial Assistance

The "Make it Back Home" package can be worth up to £75,000.

Support for a typical example of a returning entrepreneur with an export business plan would be:

  • Up to £40,000 (including £4,000 for each job created).
  • Up to £35,000 for additional development assistance.
