THE RENOVATORS ARE HERE. NEA HEAD OFFICES IN TURMOIL ;-)
My Home is collapsing around me as the renovators begin their 12 week stakeout here. That means that the NEA Head office will be in turmoil during this period. Lines may be late from week to week and mail may remain unanswered for longer than usual. I hope that Lee, Dee, and Ted can pickup some of the slack as we approach the high recruiting season. And I'll try to be as consistant as possible juring this period.
NEW MINIMUM SEPARATION PROCEDURE AT YYZ.
Because of rwy closures and taxi way diversions demands are up at yyz. Minimum separation will require pilots to commence takeoff roll immediately when clearence is given. It also means that all NEA pilots landing at yyz must slow to final approach speed when landing clearence is given or over/within the NDB. You can get this an other yyz notams conviently on the CIS Aviation Wx page by typing NO YYZ at the prompt.

NEA ANNOUNCES NEW ROUTES FROM TORONTO AND VANCOUVER TO THE HEART OF DISNEY LAND IN CALIFORNIA
NEA is pleased to announce the commencement of flights from Toronto and Vancouver to John Wayne International Airport in Orange County California. These flights are meant to augment our strong presense in the Los Angeles area and provide convenient transfers to the Disney theme park and Downtown Anaheim. Flights commence Aug 3, 1997 and will be served by our newly delived Airbus A319 aircraft.

LEE JAMES APPOINTED TO HEAD NEA EUROPE. NEA SEEKS TO DEVELOPE NEW TIES WITH EUROPEAN COMMUNITY.
Lee James, the hard working assistant manager at LHR has been promoted to head European operations for NEA. In a press release dated today, H. R. Martin Phills, founder and president of Canada's largest simulated airline, said that Lee James is the perfect candidate for the job. His dynamism will spark new growth in our E.U. market.

NEW A340 AVAILABLE FOR FS6
Craig Mosher has managed to convert the new flight model A340 to fs6 format. If you are a qualified pilot and interested in this ac, please contact me with your request.

NEW GUIDELINES CONCERNING DIRECT ROUTING.
Please note the flight plans expecting fl350 or higher can take advantage of direct routings (skipping some of the zigzag routing on the J's) over North American NAATC and the Caribbean. If you are assigned an altitude FL350 or above and wish to use a direct route, you must submit a flight plan to me 24 hrs prior to your departure for approval. You can send you flt. plans to any of the email addresses listed below. All appropriate sids and stars apply.

There are plenty of changes in effect at YYZ because of construction please check your YYZ notams weekly for ops changes and restrictions. If any changes affect your flight planning or taxi, please include these notes in your report. Also the new Autoland procedures are in with 733, 319/320/330/340 757 and 777 operating without restrictions at all airports so equipped. I've had some intersting questions about converting fs5 ac to fs6. We're working on solutions and will anounce or post them soon.
