In 1983 I began arranging for politicians to photograph themselves alone in their offices. As the project gathered momentum I was able to have the Prime Minister, his major cabinet ministers, the Leader of the Opposition and the 10 Provinicial Premiers photograph themselves. Some politicians saw humour in such an undertaking while others took themselves very seriously.
