Ozone is a gas produced in the nature by ultra violet rays from the Sun or by lightning bolts during a thunderstorm.

Ozone is the safest purification and disinfection agent. Ozone is generated without the use of any chemicals, and it does not add any chemicals into the water or air.
We all know that chlorine is very harmful to us. It fades our bathing suits, irritates our eyes, damages our hair and skin and on top of all this it is also harmful to the environment. Ozone, on the other hand is friendly to humans as well as to the environment.
One-tenth part per million (0.1 PPM) of ozone in the air is considered to be a safe level. When ozone concentration reaches 50 PPM (that is 500 times the safe level), and is inhaled for more than 100 minutes it can be harmful. Such high levels are hard to achieve. Recommended strength of Ozone for spa and pool water treatment is 0.01 PPM (one-tenth 1/10 of the safe level in the air).
