A Little Slice of Heaven!

These short stories are based on the life experiences of the Meuillars, a well-known family from Central Ontario.

The Meuillars frequent the Stephen Leacock Museum, the Orillia Farmer's Market and Couchiching Beach Park -- they just love the Sunshine City.

These short stories are dedicated to the most important people in the world: YOU and my loving family.

A Little Slice Of Heaven was conceived on a beautiful summer day in Buddy's backyard garden. It is the pride and joy of his life. I invite you to visit his garden and meet the lively characters who inhabit it. They spare no effort in keeping me at the keyboard ... writing for fun!

Like you, I agree with the sound advice from Emily Carr -- "Never use a big word if a little one will do! However, I playfully sprinkled a few big ones here and there." They are only there to challenge your spirit.

If you happen to encounter one that is not currently in your repertoire, you may use my favorite online dictionary. Please feel welcome to e-mail me with feedback and/or comments.

Buddy feels like he's earned the right to say something on every subject on every occasion. Ms. Lucy, his loving wife, thinks he is just too talkative. As a compromise, they agree to have this little "Let's Talk About It" series. Surprisingly, his counsel is wise and relevant. Enjoy!
