Jesus, Mary, Joseph ... I love you!

God is Love!
I will never forget you!

If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love.
John 15:10

Love of God and love of neighbour are inseparable. Your families
must be sanctuaries of love in the midst of the many difficult
situations caused by the misuse of God's gift of sexuality.
Pope John Paul II

Thank You Jesus for loving me just as I am. Jesus, I know that I am nothing without You. I am sorry for my sins.
I acknowledge You as the Son of the living God. I invite You into my life. I receive You as my Lord and Saviour.
Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. Heal and strengthen me. I love You Jesus. Deepen my love for You. Amen.

The Greatest Commandment ... Teacher, which commandment in the law is the greatest? He said, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and first commandment. And a second commandment is like it: You shall love your neighbour as yourself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets." Matthew 22:36-39

My child, do not forget my teaching, but let your hearts keep my commandments; for length of days and years of life and abundant welfare they will give you. Proverbs 3:1-2

This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. No one has greater love than this, to lay down one's own life for one's friends. You are my friends if you do as I command you. You did not choose me but I chose you. John 15:12-14,16

O that you had paid attention to my commandments! Then your prosperity would have been like a river, and your success like the waves of the sea; your offspring would have been like the sand, and your descendants like its grains; their name would never be cut off or destroyed from before me. Isaiah 48:18-19

Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law. The commandments, You shall not commit adultery; You shall not murder; You shall not steal; You shall not covet; and any of the other commandments, are summed up in these words, Love your neighbor as yourself. Romans 13:8-9

Who ever breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches others to do the same, will be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 5:19

Through our love for others we find God's love for us. Love thy neighbour as yourself; the triangle includes God, your neighbour and yourself. If you love your neighbour as yourself, you would not commit murder or adultery or any of the things in the other commandments ... that makes it one of the greatest commandments.

But I say to you that listen, love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you. Do to others as you would have them do to you. If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them.

Do not judge, and you will not be judged; do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. Luke 6:27-28, 31-32, 37

We receive from God whatever we ask, because we obey His commandments and do what pleases Him. And this is His commandment, that we should believe in the name of His Son Jesus Christ and love one another, just as He has commanded us. All who obey His commandments abide in Him, and He abides in them. 1 John 3:22-24

God is love, and those who abide in love abide in God, and God abides in them. Those who say, 'I love God', and hate their brothers or sisters, are liars; for those who do not love a brother or sister whom they have seen, cannot love God whom they have not seen. The commandment we have from Him is this: those who love God must love their brothers and sisters also. 1 John 4:16, 20-21

If God is for us, who is against us? He who did not withold his own Son, but gave him up for all of us, will he not with him also give us everything else? I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:31-32, 38-39

A friend loves at all times, and kinsfolk are born to share adversity. Proverbs 17:17

Love is patient; love is kind; love is not envious or boastful or arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice in wrongdoing, but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8

Lord Jesus ... I love You and I thank You for Your love and for the family You entrust to me. I pray that You will fill our hearts with unconditional love for You, our Dear Mother Mary, all Your Holy Angels and Saints, Our Holy Father the Pope and for each other. I also pray that You will bless us with boundless knowledge and wisdom and help us to serve You faithfully as we continue together on the journey of life. Amen.

When love becomes our way of life, lives are changed forever! How can we love others if we cannot love ourselves?

It is said that some of us find it very difficult to love ourselves. A good starting point would be this simple prayer: Jesus, I know you love me! I want to love you in return. Help me to love myself. Alleluia. Say this prayer any time, day or night; say it once a day or as many times as you wish.

Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever becomes humble like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me. Matthew 18:3-5

Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. "Honor your father and mother" - this is the first commandment with a promise: "so that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth."

And fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. Ephesians 6:1-4

My child, do not regard lightly the discipline of the Lord, or lose heart when you are punished by him; for the Lord disciplines those whom he loves, and chastises every child whom he accepts. Endure trials for the sake of discipline. God is treating you as children; for what child is there whom a parent does not discipline? Hebrews 12:5-7

You already know that children are the most precious gifts in our lives. They are also experts at the game of love. Take a moment now, to read about two of the important people in the lives of children everywhere ... mothers and fathers.

It is also no secret that some of us could use some rules for living or simple rules for being dad!

Have I told you yet today that I love you? The love we give and recieve is all that matters and all that will be remembered after we leave this world. It is important to have someone who loves you. Whenever someone says "I love you", you must always respond with, "I love you too!" The miracle of unconditional love is nurtured by the power of the Divine and our own imagination.

Do you remember the immortal words from "What A Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong?

"I see friends, shaking hands, saying ... How do you do?
They're really saying ... I love you!"

God loves people of courage!

Saying that you are happy, prepares you for happiness but you must believe it to experience it!
