The Graduate ...

Learning is like rowing upstream: not to advance is to drop back. Chinese Proverb

The Graduate was written to celebrate the end of the school year in 2006.

She got a little pimple,
Right upon her dimple,
And it made her very sad.

At first, she tried to hide it,
Then went ahead and squeezed it,
Now, it looks really bad.

It is so red and puffy,
And she is getting huffy,
I hate to see her mad.

This pimple sure was little,
And it made her very brittle,
But she is still a grad.

Some of my other poems were awarded the prestigious Editor's Choice Award and are hosted by the International Library of Poetry.
