Christ is my Savior.
Jesus my Brother,
Mary my Mother,
Joseph my Protector,
I love You.
Yup! It's me ...

Of all God's miracles large and small, the most miraculous one of all, is the one I thought could never be, God has given you to me! From the movie Fiddler on the Roof.

May the LORD, the God of your ancestors, increase you a thousand times more and bless you, as he has promised you! Deuteronomy 1:11

Thank you for visiting my website today. I have fun maintaining it and hope you enjoy using it. If no, please take a moment to share your concerns with me.

I was born in a little village in the foothills of Mount St. Benedict, a Benedictine Monastery in Trinidad, West Indies. Over the years, I lived in Trinidad, St. Croix (US Virgin Islands) and now in Canada.

Trinidad is a beautiful little island in the sun where a cold morning is around 20° C ... plus! It is also the home of The Seminary of St. John's Vianney, the largest Catholic Seminary in the Caribbean.

I am only one. But still, I am one. I cannot do everything, but still I can do something. And because I cannot do everything, I will not refuse to do the something that I can do. Edward Everett Hale

What do I want? What do I desire? What do I burn for? Why do I live? There is only one reason: so that together we might live with Christ. Saint Augustine of Hippo

Who are you and what do you do?  Did you ever have to answer that question? If yes, I hope you were able to confidently answer ... "I am my Father's child and I do the work of my Father here on earth!"

Without the assistance of that Divine Being, I cannot suceed. With that assistance, I cannot fail. Abraham Lincoln

We are children of God, and if children, then heirs, heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ -- if, in fact, we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him. Romans 8:16-17

I am not bound to win, but I am bound to be true. Abraham Lincoln

A hundred years from now ... it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove ... but the world may be different because I was important in the life of a child! Author Unknown

When we look back, what we'll remember most are the times when kindness and good friends made a difference in our lives.

I shall pass through this world but once. Therefore any good that I can do, any kind act that I can perform for any fellow creature, let me do it now. Let me not delay, or omit it, for I shall not pass this way again. Étienne Giennet, 18th Century

I was fortunate enough to meet my two paternal great grandmothers i.e. the mother of my father's mother and the mother of my father's father. They came to Trinidad from India in the early 1900s and lived until I was nine or ten years old. During a recent conversation, I was told that Ramjewan, our surname, means "The Life of Ram".

Are you a Ramjewan too?

At one time I knew all the Ramjewans in the world. At least, so I thought. That was based on the fact that I knew everyone in the Ramjewan family and all the Ramjewans in the Trinidad telephone book.

Then I came to Canada in the late 80s and was the only Ramjewan in the local telephone book. Later, when I started using the Internet, I knew everyone who came up in a search for Ramjewan. This remained unchanged for quite a while before a new name came up from South Africa.

Today, there are many Ramjewans - unknown to me - showing up on the Internet from the USA, Guyana and even Trinidad where I thought I knew all of them. Are we all related? I don't know!

The only thing I do know is that we share the same last name. Please feel welcome to contact me if you wish to communicate with another Ramjewan.

Who are you?

Interestingly, that is not nearly as important as "Whose" are you?

Why? Because you come from a Royal Family, the family of Christ The King. You were born into the right family, the family of God. You are a child of the Most High God. He is holding you in the palm of His hand. You are not average. You are not ordinary.

You have to live the life you were born to live. Breathe in good health and breathe out sickness. Breathe in confidence and breathe out fear. Breathe in success and breathe out defeat. With God, all things are possible. Good health, healing and victory.

We are all human beings living on this earth. Some of us just require more compassion, courtesy and assistance than others. Erika Maki, 14 years old - diagnosed with cerebral palsy at the age of two.

A few words of wisdom ...
  • Never give up on anybody. Miracles happen every day.
  • Never deprive someone of hope; it might be all they have.
  • Never laugh at anyone's dreams.
  • Learn to listen. Opportunity sometimes knocks softly.
  • Be brave. Even if you're not, pretend to be. No one can tell the difference.
  • Think big thoughts, but relish small pleasures.
  • Every so often, let your spirit of adventure triumph over good sense.
  • Learn the rules, then break some.
  • Volunteer ... some of the jobs no one wants contain big opportunities.
  • Always check for toliet paper BEFORE sitting down.

As you know ...

  • Anything worth doing, is worth doing well.
  • Life is like running a marathon; the only way to get anywhere is to put one foot in front of the other.
  • To be fully appreciated, I don't have to act like anyone else. I just have to be the best me that I could ever be!
