"Fiesta" is an exuberant 21", 48 lbs, blue merle who finished her Canadian Championship going Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex (over Specials) at the Australian Shepherd Club of Ontario Specialty in August 2000.
Fiesta has effortless balanced side gait; is clean coming and going and has excellent angulation. She also carries her grandfather "Gucci's" exquisite head piece (Am.Ch.Propwash Manape Ghostrider).
Flyball is Fiesta's passion in life and she earned her FMCh (15,000 points in September 2005). Fi-Fi L'amour as she is also known, also enjoys obedience and is currently training for her CDX. Fiesta obtained her American CD in four straight trials over two weekends! She is also an excellent tracker who can't wait to get out into the field.
Fiesta was bred twice in her life, to two very remarkable dogs. Her first litter, to Am/ASCA CH. Heatherhill Sweet Talkin' Dude (aka Shooter) produced seven beautiful puppies - including Ponder (here) and Willie (with Chris & Avery). They are all in loving homes and competing in various venues - one is even a musical therapy dog with her owner! Fiesta's second litter, to Am Ch. Thornapple Tandem Axel produced (with some effort - thanks Kelly!) three 'wild children'! Originally named Lira, Peso and Euro (as their birth at the Emergency Clinic was a little expensive) - they are now Quench - living in Quebec with cousin Tina and family learning obedience, flyball and agility, Peso - lives with Andrea and is her agility dog extraordinaire and Abbey - living with half-sister Jasper and family. They are very active and loving kids! Fiesta is now spayed and enjoy life as a part-time flyball dog, full time 'babysitter'.
