Willie is named for the famous jockey, Willy "The Shoe" Shoemaker - Nadine, his original co-owner is a big horse racing fan, thus my attempt to name him after a Willie  Nelson song went by the wayside!  Unfortunately, Nadine was unable to keep Willie and he has come back to Riomesa - which is fortunate for us as he has turned out to be a handsome young boy.

Willie is now owned by Chris, co-owned by myself - and is currently spending his time raising his new cousin Avery (out of Gracie and Diesel).  THANKS Chris for giving Willie such a loving home!  Willie finished his Championship in style going WD/BOW under respected movement judge Betty McHugh, shown by Kelly Comrie.  Picture to come.....
