The Karam Chiropractic Clinic aims to reflect a wellness environment in concert with other health care professionals rendering their own expertise and areas of interest. Below is the cast of characters.
Roger F. Karam, B.Sc., D.C.
Doctor of Chiropractic
I graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 1987 and have had a chiropractic clinic in Whitby since 1989. Prior to graduating from CMCC I had attended the University of Toronto and received a Bachelor of Sciences degree.
My primary focus is on family chiropractic care with particular attention and expertise in paediatrics.
An avid tennis player and Scuba diver, I share my life with my wife, Nayla and children Stephanie and Jeremy.
Kim M. Nicholson, RMT
Registered Massage Therapist
I graduated from Sutherland-Chan School of Massage in 1998. and have also completed 2 years in the Kinesiology program at York University. In 1995, I opened the Kinetics School of Baton & Dance where I coach all levels from 3-14 years of age. My practical experience includes working in a student clinic, treating a variety of common conditions, as well as working with seniors, MS patients, young athletes, & high risk pregnancies. I have also taught a number of courses to parents on infant massage & the benefits of positive touch at a young age.
Jackie Mirza, RNC
Registered Nutritional Consultant
I specialise in balancing nutrition with optimum health and consequently ensuring the proper nutritional components are followed. I rely, among other things, on extensive patient interview and studies of their food and nutritional intake. From there I formulate a plan to ensure the right nutrients are ingested and in turn are excelling a patients health.
My practice benefits people of all ages and lifestyles, from the growing child to the active senior.
