Lougheed Hybrid Roses

                   I'm a long time lover of roses.

                      I've been growing them for nearly thirty years and have exhibited
                            with a very good degree of success. I'm also an accredited judge of roses.
 
                      In 1986 I turned my attention to the craft of hybridizing roses, with the objective
                            of trying to produce roses that were full bloomed, sturdy and disease resistant.
                            It hasn't been an easy undertaking with many promising seedlings
                            not showing their potential and being discarded.
 
                           However, I have managed to create 100 promising crosses, of which I now
                           have 10 roses, hybrid teas and floribundas, which I think are roses that any rosarian
                           would like in their garden.
                           Several are already showing their exhibition quality in awards they have won.
 
                     I invite you to see for yourself what my efforts have produced.
