J.O.S. Written Word Services also has a somewhat anonymous existence on the Internet, providing 'content' for web sites. The world wide web always had a voracious need for words. But in its early years, the net tended to shy away from obvious commercial copywriting content. So, a few years ago, when I took J.O.S. Written Word Services into cyberspace, I decided that a less commercial, more 'friendly' approach would be needed. To do this, I created an 'alternate' personality I called "Gandie". Now, of course, the Internet is one giant advertising medium and it's acceptable for me to reassume my real identity as Jim Semple, advertising copywriter.
MEET GANDIE -- THE FRIENDLY GHOST WRITER
Though there are people on the Internet who know me mainly by the Gandie nickname, Gandie does not exist -- except as a figment of my imagination. However, with the help of some friends, I did create a very real 'home' for him. He can be visited at "Gandie's Ghost Town" where he serves as an amusing sales representative for J.O.S. sports , music, gardening and home improvement.To establish a writing relationship with J.O.S. Written Word Services, it's not essential to visit the Gandie site. However, for us to work well together, it helps for you to get to know me better. Reading some or all of the Gandie material will give you some insight into my 'personalities' -- real and imaginary.
