RACE DESCRIPTION
Start Location: At the back of Kilbride Public School, 15 minutes North of Burlington ***see Maps for Directions
Course: The course is run on an out and back, out and back pattern on the Iroquoia section of the Bruce Trail. Approximately 27 km varied and difficult trails. There are three sections of 1.7 Km of Country Road at the start of the run. Rugged Trail running test that offers 7 major climbs over varied surfaces of trail, road, gravel, rocks and new creek crossing at 6km
Time Limit: 4 Hours will be enforced with a 3 hour check in point. Runners who think they can not make the time limit may start @7:00 am.
21 km turn around check point will close at 11:00 am.
Facilities: Showers, and change rooms available in Grade school.
Aid Stations: Approximately every 3-7 km.
Fees: $40 Non refundable after August 4, 2001 (Refund minus $10 administration fee before Aug 4th)
Firm last day entry is Monday August 11, 2001 Minimum of 16 year old. Limit of 175 Runners.

POST EVENT: Post race Bar B Q & Refreshments available after race.
TEAM CHALLENGE
Each runner will be placed on one of the following teams; TEAM Niagara or TEAM Tobermory. The winning team will be the fastest total time of half their runners. Special Award to team winners.
The designate Team Captain will receive a special award. A team picture will be taken at the start of the race. The winning team will have their picture embedded on the yearly trophy.
Each bib number will be identified as the appropriate team.
