BRIEF HISTORY: This is the 14th Running of the Bruce Trial 32 km Survival Run. In 1987, Cor Potma of the Burlington Runners Club put trail running in Ontario on the map. As one of the original supporter and developers of trail running in Ontario, a 32 km point to point trail running race was organized. The Bruce trail component of the race is found in the Iroquois Section of the Bruce Trail. It began in a parking lot at the bottom of Hwy 6 on the border of Hamilton and followed difficult single trek trail to finish at Kilbride Public School. 14 years later an updated version of the race is set with a more fan friendly route. Take the test. And find out how you rate.
