November '95 built a 350 sq ft 4 sided bluescreen room for the Monty Cantsin creation
"Niveneh", shot on Sony Betacam SP,the room was 18' x 25' x 14' high with 4 coves.I also did lighting,under the direction of Kim Derko who tirelessly did camera for about 20 hours on 1 of the
15 grueling days, financed by a $35k OAC grant :p
Rob was manager for the April 97 Tim Tamashiro/Jaymz Bee and The Royal Jelly Orchestra cross Canada tour with
Great Bob Scott, Richard Underhill, Jono Grant, Jim Bish, Eric Soostar, Sarah McElcheran and the
Beehive Singers, our driver was the best, the one and only "I love drivin'" Bob Penney.
Other Projects
Designed, engineered and spent a year building Shuttlespace Studio in downtown Toronto,
Courtroom furniture, design and manufacture for Immigration and Refugee board, Government of Canada.
Set construction for IATSE numerous feature films and commercials '85-'90.
Project manager for 2 Shoppers Drug Mart installations.
Design, build, install 5 ceiling fan stores in and around Toronto
2 Wizards Castle Video Arcades: millwork and decor installation.
Operated warranty service centre and in home service for Casablanca Ceiling fans for 2 years.
Many house renovations from dirt to shingles
2 years experience maintaining, installing, repairing hydraulic dock hoists.
2 years full time renovating elevator interiors and metalwork.
Hundreds of door, frame and hardware upgrades and installations.
All together about 20 years in the trades. Time for something new.
