THE FINAL EVENTS By Nyron Medina The Elijah Messenger INTRODUCTION We are living in the last days of this earth's history, and God would like us to know just what is to take place right down to she last moment up to His coming in the clouds of heaven. We need guess at nothing. We need not speculate as some have done with regards to eschatology (end time events). All that we need to know has already been outlined in the scriptures, especially in the book of Revelation. We are told in Rev 1:3 that those who read and understand are blessed. This, according to Rev 22:14 means that what we learn is to lead us to commandment-keeping and eternal salvation. It is therefore of necessity that we know what the Book of Revelation teaches, lest we find ourselves teaching error and cause our souls and other people's souls to be lost. God warns us at the close of the Book of Revelation that those who add to this book or take away from it are under a curse (see Rev 22:18,19). If we teach our theories as the final events and these theories are not in the book, we add to it. And if we leave out parts of the truth we subtract from the book. There are a lot of theories going around today that add and subtract to this book. These we shall dispense with as we closely concentrate upon what the scriptures teach. We shall not teach of an antichrist coming in the future, for he has been already here for many centuries now. Neither we teach of a rapture or secret coming which the scriptures warn against (see Matt 24:26) for "every eye shall see him" Rev 1:7 when He comes in the clouds. Few people know what are to take place shortly and that ignorance shall cause their destruction (Hos. 4:6), they shall be caught unawares when the final crisis and test for the world comes, and they shall find themselves on the wrong side -fighting God through His people. The world shall be aligned on two sides of the controversy shortly. Those for God and those against Him, and what woe they shall suffer. The plagues shall finally fall upon those that are against God. To save many people the saints of God are bidden to prophesy to many nations (Rev 10:11), but they must know the prophecies to effectually warn the people. They that God describe as the remnant church, they shall be able to do this, for they keep the commandments and have the Spirit of Prophecy (Rev 12:17; Rev 19:10). Because God has given to me the spirit of prophecy by His Grace, I now fulfil my commission as a voice of prophecy to warn the people. Let us now plunge into the final closing scenes of this world's history. In order to understand the forces at work in the world today, we have to begin at a certain point in the past. For this, we shall start at the Protestant Reformation. Remember that the early church apostatized from the faith? Dan 11:31 speaks about this apostasy which is the removing of the truths of Christ and substituting them with the errors of Roman Catholicism. Then God shows that He sent a Reformation to deal with this apostasy. Read it in the last part of the following verse (32) of the same chapter and in verses 33,34. The Protestant Reformation grew strong, and threatened the very existence of the Papacy. Because of it Rome lost Germany, Poland, Denmark, Holland, England, Switzerland and others to Protestantism that emphasized that man is saved by Faith in Christ through imputation and not by works (see Rom 4: 2-1,2). In the meantime, Rome did not sit by idly while Protestantism was growing. Evil angels summoned new forces to fight against God in the person of ignatius de Loyola. This Spanish soldier was a most corrupted man, a catholic and a dabbler in mysticism. He was wounded in a war against France by being shot in the leg. Hence he had to resign his soldiery. While lying in a room by himself and reading two books "The Imitation of Christ" by Thomas A. Kempis and "Lives of the Saints", he being in a severe depression hallucinated that he was called by God to be a great spiritual soldier to defend the Pope and the honour of the Catholic church. In 1533 he founded an order by the name of the Society of Jesus(commonly called the Jesuits, or uiders by Protestants,) for the purpose of destroying Protestantism utterly and re-establishing the sway of Roman Catholicism all over the world. So fanatically devoted was this order, that when the Pope recognized it, it quickly spread all over Europe. They founded universities, became the educators of the world and became the advisors of kings and great men. \ By influencing the leaders of nations they get the leaders of nations to turn against Protestantism and hence promulgated the most barbaric violence and atrocities against God's people. This is when the Roman church became a persecuting power (see .Rev 6:8). Millions died by their intrigues. Plots after plots were hatched in secret against Protestants and these became public in the blood-shed that flowed. Poland was won back to Catholicism through the thirty years war and in many countries the progress of Reformation stopped. These Jesuits pretended to be converts of Protestantism and crept into their churches and theological seminaries and eventually became the leaders and theologians of these churches, eventually changing their doctrines by gradualism back into teaching that nearly resembled Rome, or at sympathy with Rome. This was prophesied in Jer 51:51. The Protestants taught that Rome was the antichrist, the man of sin, Babylon, the whore of Rev 17, all these were eventually dropped from their theology by the influence of the Jesuits. Protestants stumbled and fell and became apostate. This is spoken of in Dan 11.:31,35 and Rev 3:1-3. This is why we have so many churches that hold so many divergent beliefs. Now the sum of all these things are that we now had an apostate Catholic church backed by the fanatical Jesuit order and an apostate Protestantism fully infiltrated by Jesuitism. Let us now look at the plight of the Protestant church in France. We find that the Jesuits in the seventeenth century influenced the king to extirpate Protestantism as a threat against the crown. Horrible was the result. Thousands of Protestants were slain in the dead of the night. This came to be known as the St. Bartholomew massacre. The Jesuits became the wealthy of France, the rich landowners. They supported the crown while the masses of France was brought into poverty and squalor. They ruled the ignorant superstitious masses with a rigid iron hand, by force and violence, until the people became hardened in vice and moral decay. They became ripe for riot and revolution. In Rev 11:1-6 God brings to our view who He regards as the church He set up. Then He shows us the apostate Catholic church called "gentiles" and the fact that the Bible is preached for the length of time of Papal supremacy of 1260 years as a banned book by the Catholic church. The next verse shows to us something tragic that happened in history. Rome ruled for 1260 years over Christianity, that is from the year 538 A.C.B. when the Pope was made head of all churches and the corrector of all heretics by Emperor Justinian, to the year 1798 when the Papal power was temporarily abolished by militant atheism in France. In Rev 11:7-10 the tragic history of France as a result of Papal policy was revealed. In Barvaria a Jesuit Jew by the name of Adam Wieshaupt, who left the order for its evil and because he was hungry for power, founded a secret order for the destruction of all religion and the establishment of a one-world government founded upon atheism. The name of the order was the Illuminati. He quickly built it up into a most powerful force of subversion and in a few years France was in political turmoil. Capitalizing on the state that Rome had left France, preachers of Illuminati subversive and atheistic doctrines using reading societies and the lodges in France stirred up the godless masses into riots calling for blood and revenge. The monarchy in France perished and thousands of Jesuits were slain. The streets ran red with the blood of priests and the wealthy and the government that was established was taken hold of by Illuminati men. Robespierre, Marat, Saint Simon and others were all belonging to the illuminati. The secret order abolished Christianity., banned the Bible and established the worship of Reason. This war on the Bible is identified in Rev 11:7-10. The beast in Rev 11:7 is the Illuminati as organized atheism. It makes France into Egypt which is atheism (Rev 11:8; Ex 5:2), and into Sodomy which is gross sexual immorality. And France crucified our Lord by rejecting the Reformation. But while the Bible was re-established in France, atheism did not disappear. In the Napoleon dictatorship it continued and moved on to a greater event. It moved on to the war against Rome and the wounding of the Papacy by its temporary abolishment in 1798. This is recorded in Dan 11:40, and Rev 13:1-3. The king of the North is the Papacy and the beast of Rev 13:1-3, the king of the South is atheistic Communism, the Illuminati. But the scripture does not end there it says that the king of the north was to come back against the king of the south, his deadly wound was to be healed, and the rest of modern history has been concerning these issues. The Jesuits, working fanatically, got the Papacy re-established in Italy and also re-established the monarchy in France. Next in history we have the growth of the greatest nation the world has ever seen to this date. Over in the New World, many persecuted Protestants found security fleeing from Rome. They came from Europe and colonized America, thus America grew up into a mighty nation. This is identified in Rev 13:11. That America, this lamblike beast is seen in the fact that the Papacy is called the beast before it (see Rev 13:12). The Papacy was wounded in 1798 and America gained independence from Britain in 1776 and was accepted in the sisterhood of nations in 1798. Now we have four powers in the world which was to determine the modern history of the world. They are the Roman Catholic Papacy aided by the Jesuits, the apostate Protestant church, the godless atheistic Illuminati working as Communism and now America. These four powers form the history of the modern world. In Dan 11:40-45 is an account of the revival of the Papacy at which it fights against the final message and captures the whole world even the apostate S.D.A. church. This it does through the Jesuits influencing Protestantism in America to pass a Sunday Law that spreads to the world. This is identified in Rev 13:11-17. How does this happen? Well, the Illuminati has spread through a large number of organizations, businesses and institutions all over the world. Through America they have woven an intricate and extensive network of political and economic connections to every nation of the world as they are planning to take over the world and form a one-world atheistic government. The Catholic church see that they are threatened by this atheistic power, and that they would be destroyed. They tried to stop them in World War Two but lost the war: now they will influence apostate Protestantism to gain power in America and through the network of connections cause a Sunday Law to be enforced all over the world in an effort to destroy the Illuminati. Then they will want America to destroy communist states in nuclear war which will be succeeded by bloodshed against all communists all over the world. Protestantism is expected to join in this. For certain a Sunday Law will come and at that time God's people will preach the full Gospel which they have fully regained and which shall save them from being deceived, thus falling into sin. This Gospel is identified in Rev 14:6-14 and Rev 18. The saints will be severely persecuted and many shall be murdered for the Faith (Rev 6:11). Great will be the issues involve. The world will be brought into much crisis and turmoil over this issue, and while the S.D.A. church will accept Sunday, the little company of revived and reformed Adventists all over the world (Thusia) will not yield but will sound the message throughout the whole earth creating a storm. In every nation, there will be persecutions for this is the final test for the world to determine where each man shall stand. Those who are Christ's people will accept and keep His sign, the Sabbath (Ex 31:13) and those who worship Rome and his image, apostate Protestantism, will keep Sunday. At this very moment three world ideologies are spreading all over the world for the last great issues (see Rev 16:13,14) they are Communism, Catholicism, and Protestantism. So fierce will be the persecution against God's people that they shall flee to the hills leaving the large and small cities. When the Judgement about the blotting out of all our past sins spoken of in Rev 11:19 and Rev 20:12 finishes and the subjects of God's kingdom are made up, and he that is filthy and he that is holy remains either filthy or holy still (Rev 22:11,12), then probation, the period in which man could be saved is finished, and the seven last plagues of Rev. 16 shall begin. The first four plagues are not universal, but falls in different parts of the earth. The plagues take a year, but the last three plagues take a year, but the last three plagues occur in the last 15 days of' the earth's history. These plagues deal with the dismantling of the Papacy and its final destruction. In Rev 13:10 is a comparison of the wounding of the Papacy in 1798 and its final destruction in the last 15 days of the earth's history. Here is the fact that the Papacy is destroyed in the last 15 days of history. (see Rev 18:10,17,19). How is this destruction accomplished? This is identified in Rev 17. During the year of the plagues, Communism will be striving to subvert the nations to destroy all governments and religions and form a one-world government. By the fifth plague a dense darkness falls upon the earth arresting the wicked multitude that seek to destroy the praying saints up in the hills (see Rev 16:10). The seat of the beast and his kingdom is the world (see Rev 13:3). Then the sixth plague (Rev 16:12) is Babylon losing support, for the godless masses, becoming stirred up by atheism rush upon the churches and institutions and burn them down as there are pitched battles all over the world in every nation. Bombs are flying, the sound of fire burning down cities and screaming voices are heard all over as the great earthquake of Rev 16:17 occurs. This destruction of all false religion by communist Illuminati is explained in its development in Rev 17. Let us look a little closer at this chapter. It is introduced as the judgement against the great whore who has daughters (Rev 17:1,5). This whore and her daughters is the Roman and Protestant churches who by riding on the beast of Communism capitalizes on its network of world connections both economically and politically to gain power all over the world Rev 17:1,3), but the nations of the world will turn Communist instituting a one-world government (Rev 17:12,13) in the last 15 days of the year of the plagues, and through the influence of communism they shall turn upon the church and all other false religions thus the entire earth will be seethed in riot, revolution and bloodshed (Rev 17:16,17; Zech 14:13). It shall be atheist against religionist and religion against religion as the great earthquake the false unity of Babylon give away (Rev 16:18,I9). Communism also being divided up into conflicting fractions shall self destruct, for it goeth "... into perdition" (Rev 17:8,11). It is this condition of things that Christ shall meet as He comes in power and great glory as the wicked are slain with the brightness of His coming. What will happen to the righteous yet alive upon the earth? They were 144,000 (Rev 7; Rev 14:1-5), and at the falling of the fifth plague (the dense darkness) all over the earth, they were delivered from the throng that surrounded them for their destruction (Dan 12:1), at the great earthquake (Rev 16:17,18) there was a special resurrection of all those that died with the Faith of the third angel's message since 1844, plus those who have been foremost in fighting against the kingdom of God (Dan 12:2; Rev 1:7; Mk 14:62). These specially resurrected righteous and the 144,00 shall be protected from all evil for they are with Christ: they have been called (and the answered), and have been chosen, (in the Investigated Judgement), and have been faithful (maintaining their faith in the time of Jacob's trouble) Rev 17:14. No harm shall come to the saints for there shall be safety in their dwellings. When Christ shall appear in the heavens the remaining alive and contending masses will be burned by the brightness of His coming and the few righteous will be left (see Isa 24:1-6). Then all the righteous dead from all past history, from Abel down to 1844 shall be resurrected in the first resurrection (Rev 20:6) and these shall be caught up with the remaining alive saints and the specially resurrected to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we be with Him forever (I Thes 4:15-18). So in concluding this narrative of the final events, we see that the Lord has been glorified in the events of history. Irregardless of all the most devious plots hatched by men worked upon by Satan, God's people were delivered while the plotters all came to destruction because of their own plan. The laws working in history have been fully explained, and the naturalness and scientific nature of real Christianity has been seen. The hidden sound, the moaning agony that has barely been discerned in the flow of history shows that without God man is nothing and that happiness comes nowhere near to his person. But amidst the expiring sounds of the voices of the persecuted, the praise and glory of the divine name has been heard with clear distinction. |
