- There is
only one way of salvation. Joel 2:32; Rom.
10:10-13.
- One way of
salvation in the First Witness (F.W.) Isa.
43:10-12.
- One way of
salvation in the Second Witness (S.W.) Acts.
4:10-12.
- There is
only one faith. Eph 4:5; Heb.
11:1-4,7,8,13,31,32-39.
- We are
justified by this one Faith. Gal. 2:16.
- This Faith
Is the Faith of Jesus Christ. Rom. 3:22; Rev
14:12.
- Abraham
was justified by this same faith in the F.W. Rom.
4:3,9; Gen 15:6.
- David also
was Justified by this faith in the F.W. Rom
5:6-8.
- Today we
too must be
justified by this faith. Rom 4:11-16.
- Sin is the
transgression of the law in F.W. (Hos. 8:1; Hos
4:1,2.)
- Sin is
transgression of the law in the S.W. 1 Jn. 3:4;
Rom 7:7.
- The
problem of man in the F.W. was that he had a
wrong mind. Eze. 36:26.
- The
problem of man in the S.W. is that he has a wrong
mind. Rom. 8:6,7.
- Both the
Israelites and the Gentiles were supposed to keep
the Law in the F.W. Num. 15:15, 16,27-29.
- Both the
Israelites and the Gentiles that make up the
church are supposed to keep the law in the S.W.
(Gal. 3:28; 1 Cor. 7:19-20; James 1:25.)
- Both the
Israelites and the Gentiles were supposed to keep
the Sabbath in the F.W. Eze. 20: 12-13; lsa.

- Both the
Israelites and the Gentiles that make up church
are supposed to keep the Sabbath in the S.W. Gal.

- People
were saved by grace In the F.W. Ex. 33:13,16-17;
Ps. 84:11; Prov 3:34; Tit. 2:11-12.
- People are
saved by grace in the Second Witness. Eph. 2:5,
8.
- Only when
God by His favor or mercifulness gives us a new
heart and obedience. does grace save us. And so
we will escape death.
(a)
A new heart (Eph. 2:5; Rom. 12:2)
(b)
Obedience to the law. Rom. 3:28,31; 1 Jn. 5:1-3
(c)
Escape of death. Jn. 5:24,28-29; Jn. 3:16-18.
- The Holy
Spirit was given to men at conversion in the F.W.
Ps. 51:11-12; Eze. 36:27; Gen. 41:38-39; Ex.
35:20-21,30-31; 2Chron 20:14.
- There is
only ONE way of salvation in both the First
Witness (F.W.) and Second Witness (S.W.) So what
then is the difference between the two Witnesses?
(a)
The First Witness represented the Gospel in the form of
the ceremonial and sacrificial system called the Old
Covenant. Heb. 7:11; Heb. 8:3-5; Heb. 9:18-23; Heb
10:1-4.
(b)
This is now abolished. Eph. 2:15; Col. 2:14,16-17, Heb.
7:12-19; Heb. 8;7-13; Heb 10: 1-9.
(c)
The Second Witness presents the same one Gospel in the
life, doing and dying of Jesus Christ. It is called the
New Covenant. Gal. 3:1; 1 Cor. 2:1-2; 1 Cor. 15:3.

The
Elijah Messenger would be more than eager to answer any
of your questions on what you have just read. We feel it
is our obligation to explain as much as the Spirit of God
inspires us to do so. In these last days His Spirit is
urging us all to be diligent with what we know and more
importantly not stop searching for the Truth which is in
Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior. May God Bless.
