                        ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING – AUGUST 27, 2005                     

The 22nd Annual General Meeting of the Association will be held on Saturday, August 27,2005

at the Advent Lutheran Church located at 2800 Don Mills Road (Just north of Sheppard Ave East)

commencing at 5.00 p.m.

 

Please send in your resolutions if any to reach me or the President on or before August 20, 2005 for consideration

of the Committee.  You are kindly invited to be present. Please bring a friend of Sri Lanka to the meeting.

1         Call to order and the address of welcome

2         One minute silence in memory of the victims of terrorism all over the world

3         Adoption of Motion to allow non-members to participate

4         Table minutes of the last AGM and its adoption

5         President’s Annual report and discussion

6         Table Financial report for year 2004 and its adoption

7         Table resolutions received and adopted by the committee

8.         Report on work done during the first quarter.

9.         Election of office bearers for 2005/2006:

·         Pro-tem chair person

·         Vice Presidents (3 positions)
