                                            Press Release

We are encouraged to read in media reports that foreign relief aid will not reach the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE aka Tamil Tigers) controlled areas directly, as been suggested by the Norwegian Government Peace Mission, and that the Tamil Tigers are yet to find an arrangement to work with the Government of Sri Lanka (GOSL), which is the democratically elected government, responsible for the welfare of the country and its citizens.

Contrary to what the Tamil Tiger propaganda reported that relief aid is not reaching the North and East of the Tsunami affected areas, the Canadian ambassadors such as former Minister of Defence David Pratt who now works for Red Cross, has denied its veracity as he was happy to report that he was pleased to see that relief aid is indeed reaching these areas and the complains by the Tamil Tigers and their propagandists should be "put to bed". And we expect the media to be act responsibly and not report such false propaganda on air as well as in their print-columns.

While recognizing that only a small portion of the Tamil Tiger controlled area of the Wanni was affected by the Tsunami, the major area of the eastern sea coast was in Mullaitivu, which also happened to be the Sea Tiger Headquarters and now in peril, with their structures washed out, over 2000 terrorists killed, well as over 200 attack-gun boats destroyed.

We are appealing to the foreign aid donors who will be help building the infra-structures of the tsunami affected areas of the Tamil Tiger controlled Wanni, to tie it to the Peace Process. The goodwill extended by foreign countries wanting spend millions of dollars and thousands of man-hours on reconstruction may only be destroyed within a few months, and this time by Eelam War IV, as the Tamil Tigers have quite clearly shown their intention with its continued recruiting of children for their depleted army as reported by UNICEF and World Watch, and trying to sneak in two dismantled light aircraft in relief aid containers, which were discovered by the authorities at Colombo Airport and confiscated.
