Genocide propaganda

Sri Lanka United National Association of Canada is thoroughly denying the genocide allegations made against Sri Lanka and its people by groups supporting Tamil Tiger Terrorists in Greater Toronto area. These Tamil Tiger fronts are trying to mislead Canadian public and the media using unrealistic allegations and unethical tactics during the last whole week. Now they are trying to appear as a third innocent party and asking international community to save Sri Lankan civilians from the Sri Lankan security forces. This is not the real picture of what is happening in Sri Lanka today. Therefore we are requesting the media and the public not to buy in to these allegations but to look for real truth about the Sri Lanka.

What is happening in Sri Lanka is government security forces have cornered Tamil Tiger terrorists into a small area in Northern part of Sri Lanka where Tamil Tigers are keeping hundreds of civilians as a human shield. Government of Sri Lanka has given 48 hour notice on January 29th to Tamil Tigers to release all innocent civilians they have been holding for months and in order to escape them to cleared areas. Some of the civilians managed to cross in to safety area and they complained that Tamil Tigers are shooting at fleeing civilians and holding them at gun point.

Tamil Tiger supporters in Greater Toronto area who funded Tamil Tiger terrorism in Sri Lanka and abroad didnʼt except this kind of sudden end to the Tamil Tiger terrorism and therefore they are trying to switch the scenario and push the international community to save LTTE in this last moment.

End of Tamil Tiger terrorism means freedom to Sri Lankans who are suffering from terrorism for over two decades and it will be a new beginning for the country; democracy and development will be their next goals. We all members of Sri Lanka United National Association of Canada will support that ultimate goal and are ready to secure their dream of freedom terrorism all Sri Lankans.

We are hoping to have a press conference with other Sri Lankan organizations to counter the malicious Tamil Tiger propaganda in Canada which we will be notify later. For further information please contact us on (647)367-7471.
