SLUNA is pleased to inform that the Canadian government has listed the LTTE in a list of 83 individuals and organizations linked to terrorism as announced by Finance Minister Paul Martin and Foreign Affairs Minister John Manley on November 7th 2001. Following the listing the property of these individuals and organizations are to be frozen and reported to the relevant authorities.

This list of 83 names is an amended version of the first list which was gazetted on 16th October, 2001 together with Canada's Regulations in response to UN Security Council Resolution 1373.
