Thank you for your regarding our new Picture
Postage customizable stamps. I am pleased to respond in this matter.

In the few short months since this product was unveiled, Picture
Postage stamps have been enjoyed by thousands of customers within Canada and
abroad. Similar to Australia's P-Stamps, our Picture Postage program is a
unique way of producing a limited number of customized postage stamps,
personalized with the customer's image of choice. While we reserve the
right to refuse any order, images used for Picture Postage should in no way
be taken as endorsed by or representative of the views of Canada Post.

Canada Post shares your concerns that our products not be used in
support of terrorist or illegal activities of any kind, and we have no
evidence to date to support the allegation that our products have been used
for any illicit purpose. This matter has been investigated, and we have
confirmed that an order was received and processed for the image of Kumar
Ponnampalam. However, subsequent investigations have revealed that the
terms and conditions of the order had not been met, and therefore Canada
Post will not reprint any photographs of Mr. Ponnapalam for use in
conjunction with our Picture Postage program. In addition, we have
implemented new measures as part of our screening process.

Again, thank you for writing, and I appreciated this opportunity to
respond.

Yours sincerely,

Tim McGurrin
