Prices And Distribution - Within India Only

Prices For India! (CD only) As my way of expressing gratitude to India for keeping my favourite motorcycle alive, I am offering a special price to Indian Citizens Only! - No Tourists, Please! (If you can afford to travel to India, surely you can afford to pay the regular price for a CD!) Besides, only Indian Domestic models are covered - no export models.

The CD is available through my stocking agent in India. Payment may be made in Rupees directly to Mr. BR Gurunandan in Bangalore - call in person, or work by mail and your CD will be mailed to you directly by Indian Post.

New CD, New Price

Many additions have been made to the original CD. The latest include completely new sections covering the Disk Front Brake and the 5-speed Enfield gearbox. Thus the price has increased somewhat.

 The price for the Standard Edition, produced entirely in Canada - but mailed to you from within India - with Canadian-Printed Jacket and Label, is Rs 999, postage included. (Assuming payment by Cheque. An additional saving of Rs 100 may be had by paying instead in DD. This is a saving of more than Rs 600 over the rest-of-the-world price.)

Before You Order - Do You Need One?

This manual is written as an owner's and a service manual. First, there is plenty of information which is essential to the understanding required just to operate the machine properly, as well as to be able to deal with your mechanic, dealer service technician, or street-corner "mecco."

As well, it is written for the "hands-on" Bullet owner, who desires to do all his own mechanical work; to take him from the level of beginner to full-on Bulleteer. The author, an experience high school level teacher of auto mechanics and machine shop, and one-time British motorcycle dealer, has written the book with instruction in mind.

It is also written with the full-scale service technician in mind. In fact, it is used by the US Importer as a service tool, both for his mechanics, and also for his on-line help staff, in answering questions from callers on service issues. He has also begun sending a copy to each of his dealers as a service resource.

Conclusion: Whether your interest is just in acquiring enough understanding of your machine to be able to ride it properly and deal with your mechanics, learning to become an accomplished mechanic yourself, or as a dealer interested in another service resource, this manual is for you!
