In his first U.S show at Lakes Region Kennel Club, Inc., in Hopkinton, NH on July 15, 1999, Quinn managed a Reserve Winners Dog under judge Dr. Robert D. Smith.

Not to be denied, he came back the next day at the Woodstock Dog Club, Inc., in North Haverhill, NH, on July 16, 1999 and took a 4 point Major by placing Best of Winners!
