These pictures all come to us from Mavican's first (but hopefully not her last) appearance on Xena: Warrior Princess in an episode entitled "Succession".

A wee bit of Xenaverse background...
In this episode, Mavican tries to convince Ares, the Greek God Of War, that she is the natural successor to Xena as Ares' "right-hand" lady!
She battles both Gabrielle and Xena in a test prepared by Ares, but alas, in the end she is defeated by Xena!
Our pretty villain is left hanging from a vine over a bottomless pit in a sealed-off cave! What a cruel fate...!
Oh poor, poor Mavican... whatever shall you do?!?
