Picture 1: This is a picture from Highland Park here in Rochester during the Spring. There's a great view between the trees that really offsets the beuatiful flowering bushes.

Picture 2: This is one of the study areas in the library where I work. The lighting isn't the greatest but it does provide a great contrast of light against dark and it has a nice sense of symetry.

Picture 3: This is a tree on the canal path. It has a wierd looking trunk that doesn't come across as well on the scanned picture. Still a nice looking pic none the less.

Picture 4: This is a park in Rochester in the winter along Lake Ontario. I thought the empty swings in the snow was interesting.
