This book reads like you are talking to your doctor. A nice doctor, a doctor you can talk to, a doctor that speaks in plain English but still it is a bit clinical. It's not overly technical or medical just a bit dry. There's alot of information about orgasms and ways to achieve them, alone and with a partner. I liked it though it is a bit too orgasm focused, but that's as it should be. But being as orgasm focused as it is, it doesn't get to the technique until the end. It does mention that sex is not all about orgasm. ....[but it does sell books and add quite a bang to sex ;^)]

This is a book that isn't afraid to get dirty with sex and is willing to take you along for the ride. The author is knowledgeable about the subjects she discusses and even puts emphasis on certain favorites of hers. The style and frankness are what set this book apart. If you get put off by the use of explicit language or what might be considered crude than you probably want another book. If you're looking for a walk on the wilder side of the bedroom than this is a good book to pick up. It discusses adult videos/books/etc. , bdsm for beginners, role-play, anatomy, anal play for him and her, and female ejaculation. Down and dirty indeed. I give the book an A+.

A great book that frankly discusses sex in it's many facets from a medical and practical point of view. The language was easy to read and conversational, yet filled with facts and information. The only thing that kept this book from getting an A+ was that with some of the issues there was a deliberate staying away from any political or personal opinion. Granted this was deliberate and probably best for selling and keeping it objective but if you read closely you can nearly tell the Dr's opinion and view so it almost becomes a mute point. All in all an excellent book an A. I added it to my personal library.

This book is a simple practical guide to overcoming and/or moving on after widowhood or divorce. The writing and language is the same simple and practical. Carol writes like what she is someone who has gone through it and is giving her advice on how she got through it. Alot of it is common sense practical things that while you may know it it helps to have somebody say it for you. I give it a B/B-.
Carol Kriet combines her down to earth business wisdom with the inspiration and encouragement she gained as a woman who has "been there". The result is a digestible program that enables you to find your place in the real world. Accented with metaphors and personal stories, this book offers constructive ways to regain control of your life and to create an enriched future for yourself and those you love.

Love and Marriage are crazy institutions and no one is more qualified to give us a tour as Mr. Bill Cosby. I must warn you that I am a huge fan and that may bias this review. Though the book misses some of the comic charm of a Cosby performance, the wit and funniness still come through as he writes about his adventures and mis-adventures in love and romance. Some of the experiences may be lost on those who don't remember or know of yesteryear (I don't remember them because I wasn't born yet but I know of the time through various stories and experiences of those who have and the wonders of re-runs). But there are more than enough gems to carry you through. For a light read and a good chuckle I give this book a solid B.

A very good book if you're looking for new positions. It's not so much about the Kama Sutra but it is a little, probably enough for the average person who has heard of it and wondered what it was. Definitely not for someone wanting to study the Kama Sutra and what it says. I enjoyed it and found the pictures extremely helpful. It is mostly a sexual positions book and does a pretty good job at that. Other than that it doesn't do a whole lot. An A+ as a position book. A D for Kama Sutra book Overall a strong B+, hey you gotta like a book that shows people in sexual positions without being dirty. (though I don't mind a little dirty now and then ;^)

This is an excellent book for helping to understand the differences between men and women. It discusses differences in communication and motivation. Though not all of the things apply strictly to all men nor all women it does provide some generalizations that are helpful in seeing the other side so to speak and to help bridge that gap in communication. I highly recommend this book to anyone who has to deal with anyone of the opposite sex. An A+.
Sometimes it seems men and women are from different planets.

I give this book a C. I think it would be a good book for women in that it gives a female perspective and a female point of view. There are a lot of good points its just that I have heard and knew them before. I found that it didn't provide me with any new insight. One strength of this book is that it is written primarily for women from a women's point of view. The author provides her own experience as a way to show the way she got to the best love the best sex and shows the struggles that she faced so it puts a human face with the ideas she presents.
I wish I had a dime for all the friends who have told me how unsatisfactory most of their sexual experiences have been, and how long it took them to get it right. People don't want to admit that they are not enjoying sex as much as they'd like to. People don't want to admit that intercourse doesn't bring them to orgasm - or that it is done with great effort and lots of fantasizing and pretending.
For generations our culture has led us to believe that intercourse is a natural act and anyone can figure it out through word of mouth or watching TV. Not true! Funny and real to life. Paul Reiser looks at his own relationship with his wife and their quirks and experiences. You'll be laughing out loud and relating throughout the book. A good book to read in order to know you aren't alone in this crazy thing known as couplehood.
Okay, you've picked up my book, but you're not ready to commit. You're looking at this little inside flap here, hoping to get a preview - a taste of what's to come before you plunk down actual cash. i respect that. I would do the same thing myself.
But here's the problem: it's a flap. you can't describe a whole book on a flap - look how thin it is.

I don't reccomend reading this book if you've got low self esteem or aren't sure of what you want from yourself and your relationship. There are some good points and some valid points in the book but the presentation can be a bit wham bam. Also you can tell that the author is going from her experience as a madam, which should be obvious from the sub-title, because she tends to treat alot of the advice as what the woman should do and looks at most of it through the woman does this and the man, being only a poor man, will do this. Despite this I did find some good points and some interesting things to think about to keep/attract your man. Despite the presentation and the stereotypes of men there are alot of truths hidden in here. I give the book overall a C.

This is a book based on Taoist ideas on sexuality and sexual healing. That isn't so clearly stated on the cover but once you read a little way in it is very apparent. The authors don't try to hide it or deny the Taoist influences in fact they almost go out of their way to praise it. The book gives techniques on moving and using the 'energy' within your body to prolong orgasm, have multiple orgasms and sexual healing. They also advocate the male technique of non-ejaculatory orgasm. The techniques can be useful especially as part of a sexual repertoire though I don't go into the whole Taoist belief and spiritual side as the authors. Overall I give the book a B. Though the title should mention somewhere that it is a Taoist sexuality book.

A good book. Basically a fingering manual. But fingering for "ultimate pleasure". Not a bad book. I'd recommend trying them it can't hurt but don't expect a 100% guarantee all women are different. Most will enjoy it some won't. The best thing is to ask. This is a B book. Not great but worth the read.

The examples and anecdotes are nice and add to the sections. You get the authors personal opinions and know that she tried and tested everything she describes. I give it a B+.
