My Page for Trish
The Love of my life

Trish is the woman I will be spending the rest of my life with. As you can see she is a beautiful flower within a sea of lesser beauty. As beautiful as she is outside it does nothing to match the beauty inside. And it is this beauty that made me ask her to be my wife.

My Dream Come True

You never know when or where you'll meet that special someone. I met the love of my life online. I don't remember the exact date when I first met Trish but it wasn't exactly love at first sight.

I do remember us hiting it off real well when we first met. And yes there was attraction but I wasn't looking for a cyber-relationship at the time. Though I was and still am always ready to make a new friend. And that is what Trish and I were. Just friends.

Well when did the line between friendship and something more than friendship get crossed? Officially it was March 1, 1998. The actual time? Well can anyone truely say the exact time they fell in love with someone? Especially the love that would be the one you would love for the rest of your life?

We met in real life for the first time on March 5th in Ontario, Canada in a city just outside of Toronto. We have met many times since then and plan on meeting many, many more. She is my best friend, my closest confidant, my right hand and sometimes even my left. All that I could dream or ever ask of. My dream come true.

Things I Love about My Wife

There are many things I love about my wife Tricia. First of all I love the way that she loves me. That I think is the most important thing that I love the most about her. Another is her attitude. She is not afraid to go after what whe thinks is hers and isn't shy about letting you know about it. I love her smile and joy. I even love her faults. They are what make her human and allow for her to grow. I look forward to helping her grow and watching what blossoms. There are many, many more things I love about her. I didn't even mention the things I love about how she looks, (*wolf whistle* :) but this is a family page, so I won't go there. I will say that she is the most beautiful woman in my eyes.

One of the Happiest Days of my Life

It was a sunny warm May day, the first day of May, that a married the love of my life, Tricia. I awoke and prepared to get ready for the day. At 12:30 I went to my groomsmen Dave's house to meet my other groomsmen, Jon and best man, my grandfather.

At his house we got into our tuxedos and had a toast before heading off to the church. The groomsmen went to the church before us to seat guest, while my best man and I went to go pick up my Aunt from the hotel.

At the hotel we met up with my mom and grandmother who drove up from Baltimore with a stop over in Rochester the day before. We all went to the church, where we waited for the bride to arrive.

We arrived at the church and waited for Trish and the bridesmaids to show up. I had to wait in the pastor's office, because of course I couldn't see the bride until the wedding ceremony. I could hear her out in the lobby, getting her pictures taken and talking with some of the guests. Reverend Rose, the pastor of the church, came in and said we were just waiting for the mother of the bride. She had gotten held up waiting for some guests that were staying at her house. Soon enough everyone arrived and the ceremony began.

I walked into the sanctuary and saw all the guests who had arrived to be a part of this special day. I saw my mom and family sitting there and some friends from Rochester. I saw my soon to be mother in-law and family sitting. And many other guests. The organ played and the bridesmaids and groomsmen started coming down the aisle.

Last came Trish arm and arm with her father. Surprisingly she wasn't crying. She looked beautiful. Her gown, which she didn't let me see before the wedding, no matter how much I asked, was all white with lace around the bodice. We stood hand and hand as the minister, Rev. Dale Rose, started the ceremony.

The first thing in the ceremony was the introduction, welcoming all the guest and family and telling them why they were here. To read the words of the actuall ceremony from the Introduction to the Benediction click here.
