The Dinosaur Dance

Movements !

Many years ago before the world was full of us
There were many large animals and plants
And as they went around bumping into one another
They all did the dinosaur dance.

Well, they danced for two hundred million years or more
With enthusiasm, fortitude and zeal
So won't you come and join us as we turn back the clock
and dance the dinosaur reel

If you want to be a 'saurus, take a really giant step
Let your trail drag slowly across the floor,
Make your arms into jawbones
and your fingers into teeth
and let fly with a prehistoric ROAR !

Then stop what you're doing
Drop down on the ground
Stay still like you've never been before,
'Til someone comes along
and puts your bones back together
That's what it's like to be a dinosaur

Many years ago before the world was full of us

And as they went around bumping into one another
They all did the dinosaur dance.
